Hi, I'm Melissa, natural skincare formulator and founder of Natural Escapes Body. I’ve been creating clean, plant-based skincare for over 25 years with a mission to help people feel good in their skin using ingredients that truly nourish, repair, and protect.

From Struggles to Solutions

Growing up in Wyoming, I never thought much about skin health. Harsh winters, hot windy summers, and little awareness of skincare left me with combination skin, painful breakouts, and acne scars. At age 19, my skin issues became severe, and nothing I tried helped. That struggle led me to explore natural healing.

I became passionate about studying natural health, plant-based remedies, and holistic skincare. I started formulating my own products using nutrient-rich ingredients that support real skin improvement. Over time, I saw amazing results, and so did the people around me.

When my mother was diagnosed with cancer, I became even more committed to clean living. That experience deepened my drive to create safe, effective skincare made with ingredients that are as healthy for the body as they are for the skin.
